Happy Friday, and Happy Spring Break
Enjoy the half day Friday and the much-deserved week off, Trojans!
I look forward to seeing everyone back on April 11 when school resumes in full force. In the month of April alone, we have PSAT, SAT and M-STEP testing at our secondary level, a production of Beauty and the Beast from our WLHS Drama Club, a Boater Safety Course through Whitmore Lake Community Recreation, and prom, just to name a few.
Students who will be participating in testing have received a test prep booklet to take home over break. So whether you are relaxing on a beach somewhere or enjoying a staycation, encourage your student to spend some time on the materials. We also highly recommend using Khan Academy, which I highlighted in the last News and Notes post. Since it is technology-based and easily customizable to your student's learning level, it is the best way to prepare for the testing ahead.

Again, have a safe and relaxing Spring Break, Trojans! We have less than ten weeks of this school year left. I look forward to everyone coming back rested and rejuvenated so we can finish the school year strong!
